Well hello everybody, if you are reading this the chances are that Lou and I have already left for our around the world adventure. Either that or I have been so impressed with my handy work that I have forced all my friends and family to look at my travel website before I have even left.
Well hopefully the site should be easy enough to navigate through but just in case you are having trouble (I am thinking of my Mum here) I will give you a few pointers.
To the left you will see a list of all our destinations, by clicking on them you will go through to each destinations page where Lou and I will be adding photos, journals and information on each destination as and when we arrive. Providing we can get to a computer that is.
We should also be sending you all personal emails as well but this website is just so you can check up where we are along the way.
Below is a list of all of our planned destinations and when we should be arriving there.

Arrive in Madrid 17th of November
Well here is our first stop. To be honest it is more of a stop-over than a stop, as we will only be in Spain for 5 days. Why bother I hear you ask? Well 1) the flight to Brazil fly’s from Madrid and 2) I have never been to Spain before so get off my back already!

Arrive in Rio 22nd of November
Well here is where the adventure really begins. After a few days in Spain to brush up on our Spanish (yeah yeah, I know they speak Portuguese in Brazil) we will have arrived in Rio. We will be in Brazil for around 3 weeks slowly working our way down to Foz do Iguaçu before crossing the boarder into Argentina.

Arrive 15th of December
We will cross over into Argentina at the North East point by the Foz waterfall and then travel down to Buenos Aires and maybe the Patagonia for a bit of horse riding. Ye Ha Cowboy or Gaucho rather. We will also be in Argentina for both Lou's Birthday and Christmas.

Arrive 7th of January
Well after a Christmas and New Year in Argentina we will fly from Buenos Aires to Lima. This is where the real overland portion of our South America trip comes into play. After spending a bit of time in Lima we will travel overland down to Cusco to see the Macho Picchu before then travel all the way up into Ecuador.

Arrive 3rd Febuary
By the time we arrive at Quito I am sure my legs and bum will be slightly sore after our 4-day bus ride! Lou should be holding up slightly better than me by this stage but I am sure I will recover after I get a chance to stretch my legs. But hey who every said travelling was easy? OK, so I did but I was wrong!

Arrive 21st of February
Well here we are almost at the end of the first three Months and of South America. Fly from Quito to Santiago and now really just time left to explore a bit of Chile before flying on to New Zealand. Hopefully by now the Spanish is quite good?

Arrive 8th of March
Well here we are back in the English-speaking world, just as my Spanish was getting good. Well if I have managed to get my driving licence we will be flying into Auckland and then driving down to Christchurch before flying onto Australia. If I have not got my licence then we will have a long walk!

Arrive 5th of April
After flying into Sydney we have a couple of Months to do a full loop of Australia. Yeah I know it sounds like a lot of land to cover in two Months but luckily we have four internal flights, which should make it a bit easier you Flaming Galar!

Arrive 30th of May
Well here we are in the land of the Lady-Boys. Although we fly into Bangkok I don’t think we will be hanging around in Bangkok for long. Especially after Jamie's stories of being chased down the road by the ladies with big hands. I think off to the beach for some R&R and general cheap living.

Arrive 23rd of June
After a nice relaxing time in Thailand we then move into Cambodia before heading up to Vietnam. Must remember not to go nipping off to the paddy fields for a wee as Cambodia is the most land mined Country in the world, and I like my legs.

Arrive 7th of July
After travelling through Cambodia on to a bit of serious trekking through Vietnam. I am looking forward to seeing Vietnam although by all accounts it is not the easiest Country to travel through transport wise. After seeing a bit of Vietnam we then travel North and cross into Laos.

Arrive 24th of July
We should arrive into the capital of Laos and then from there head up the country before travelling back into Thailand. I think Laos is a lot quieter than Vietnam so it should be a nice change and also a good place to just sit back and relax for a while.

Arrive 17th of August
Fly from Bangkok into Colombo in Sri Lanka. Not to sure what we will be doing in Sri Lanka yet as it all depends on what the Tamil Tigers are doing at the time? So might travel around the Country a bit or might have to stay just in the South, only time will tell! Who am I kidding? I will probably just end up on a beach drinking cocktails regardless.

Arrive 8th September
After a bit more relaxing on beaches in Sri Lanka (it's a tough life!) we then say good bye Sri Lanka and hello Hong Kong! We are only staying in Hong Kong for a few days, the main reason is that it costs a fortune and by this stage in our trip I am sure money is starting to get a bit tight.

Arrive 6th of October
Well this was a bit of a spur of the moment decision, as we never planned to visit Nepal on this trip. However we were so close and I have always wanted to see Nepal so we decided to spend a couple of weeks in Nepal before returning to India to finsih the trip.

Arrive 11th of September
Almost time to come home, well by almost I mean two Months. After flying into Delhi we will have two Months to slowly travel our way down and then back up to Mumbai before then flying back to London. I wonder if I could hire an Elephant to travel around on? No dont be silly Ruairi, your just being a Moron.
